SAFETY
The Expert has the best technology and equipment in terms of active and passive safety. In addition, the Expert has structural reinforcements to cater for significant loads.
ABS, ESP, EBA etc
The Expert is fitted with the latest technology: Anti-lock braking (ABS) and emergency braking assist (EBA) fitted as standard. The electronic stability program (ESP) is optional, including Anti-slip regulation (ASR) .
Airbags and seat belts
The Expert is provided with a driver front airbag as standard. Equipment can be added such as passenger front airbag (designed to cover the 1- or 2-passenger seat configurations), and side airbags in the individual seat backs. The 3-point height-adjustable front seat belts are fitted with pyrotechnic pretensioners and load limiters.
Security
A volumetric and perimeter alarm to detect intrusions is available as an option to protect the cargo, as well as automatic deadlocking of doors while driving.
Structure
The Expert has been made to protect passengers. The cabin has been designed to absorb shocks, and to automatically cut the fuel off in the event of an accident.
Cab protection
Expert is equipped with a ladder frame and a load restraint device in the lower section. On option, panel or window partitions are available for improved passenger protection and better acoustic and thermal comfort. They all include a long load tunnel.
